Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi met with the Ambassador-Designate of Lebanon to Saudi Arabia, Ali Karanouh, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting focused on discussing the relations between the GCC and Lebanon and exploring ways to enhance them.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi highlighted the GCC states’ consistent positions on Lebanon. He reiterated their support for initiatives that bolster Lebanon’s security and stability, contributing to the prosperity and sustainable development of the Lebanese people.

The discussion also included an exchange of views on recent regional and international developments.
