Kuwait City: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi affirmed that the leaders of GCC states attach great importance to strengthening the foundations of economic integration among the member states, in order to guarantee the achievement of comprehensive development and lasting prosperity for their peoples.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this affirmation was made during Albudaiwi’s participation in the launch ceremony of the Gulf Common Market media campaign, “Gains of Gulf Citizenship,” on Sunday in Kuwait City. The event took place on the sidelines of the 123rd meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee in the GCC countries, attended by ministers of finance and economy from GCC member states.
Albudaiwi stated, “We are moving forward today in this blessed journey with the launch of this campaign, which aims to highlight the gains of Gulf citizenship and enhance the sense of shared belonging, relying on the visions of our wise leadership and their firm belief in the unity of destiny and the integration of the future between the GCC countries and their peoples.”
He further mentioned that the campaign represents a significant moment that reflects the unity of Gulf identity and the harmony of vision toward a shared future.
