Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi condemned the terrorist attack and bombing that targeted the entrance of the Security Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in the Turkish capital, Ankara, resulting in a number of casualties.

The secretary-general stressed the GCC's firm position, rejecting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, adding that such aggressive acts lead to destabilising security and stability.
