GCC Secretary-General Condemns Attacks on Saudi Arabia by Iran-Affiliated Militias

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi expressed his condemnation in the strongest terms of the continued terrorist attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Iran-affiliated militias in Iraq, emphasizing that these hostile acts represent a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty, and a direct threat to its security and stability, as well as to regional peace and security.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi underscored that the GCC states stand with the Kingdom, fully supporting all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

"The continuation of these terrorist assaults constitutes a direct threat to regional peace and security, undermining international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and consolidating security and stability," Albudaiwi stated.
