Antalya: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met with Foreign Minister of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis in Antalya, Trkiye, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. During the meeting, they discussed several regional and international issues, focusing on recent Iranian attacks on GCC states and their negative implications for regional security and stability. According to Saudi Press Agency, the GCC Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Switzerland's supportive stance on the GCC's position regarding these attacks. Cassis reaffirmed Switzerland's condemnation of the Iranian actions and supported all measures taken by GCC states. He also conveyed condolences for the loss of lives and extended wishes for the injured to recover quickly. Both leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing political coordination under the memorandum of understanding between the GCC and Switzerland. They agreed on the significance of this collaboration in contributing to security , stability, prosperity, and development for both parties.
