Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi received Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications of Bahrain Dr. Shaikh Abdullah Al Khalifa. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in the fields of transportation and telecommunications, as well as the ongoing digital transformation efforts within GCC countries. These discussions aim to advance the collective visions and goals of the member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi praised the efforts of Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications in promoting Gulf cooperation. He highlighted the importance of improving digital infrastructure to boost the competitiveness of GCC states. This progress is seen as essential for supporting the transition to a sustainable digital economy across the region.
