Jerusalem:Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi has strongly condemned the recent incursions into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremists within the Israeli occupation government. These actions, along with repeated settler intrusions and provocative rituals carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, are seen as deliberate attempts to destabilize regional security.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these violations are perceived as a direct attack on the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and contribute to escalating tensions that threaten regional stability. Albudaiwi urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by taking swift and decisive actions to halt these breaches and maintain the historical and legal status of the sacred site.
The GCC Secretary General reaffirmed the unwavering support of GCC member states for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. This includes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
