Riyadh: The General Court of Audit (GCA), through its Vice President of Institutional Services and Saudi Center for Financial and Performance Auditing (SCFPA) Tariq Aljurayfani, participated in the 26th meeting of the Undersecretaries of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the GCC. This meeting, conducted via video conference, focused on essential discussions crucial to the region’s auditing landscape.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting addressed several key topics centered on enhancing the professional capacities of employees within the SAIs of the GCC. Participants evaluated the progress of training programs as outlined in the strategic training plan for 2023-2024. Additionally, they discussed important recommendations and outcomes linked to these initiatives. Looking ahead, the strategic training plan for 2026-2028 was also on the agenda, alongside preparations for the 22nd meeting of the Heads of SAIs, set to take place in Kuwait this September.
Aljurayfani highlighted the significance of the meeting in fostering ongoing coordination, cooperation, and collective efforts among the SAIs of the GCC. These efforts are aimed at improving performance and achieving shared objectives across the institutions.
