GASTAT: Saudi Arabia’s Inflation Rate Reaches 2.2% in October 2025

Riyadh: The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) reported that the annual inflation rate of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Saudi Arabia was 2.2% in October 2025. On a monthly basis, inflation increased by 0.3% from September 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom’s Wholesale Price Index (WPI) recorded an annual rate of 2.9% in October 2025, relative to the same period in 2024, with a monthly increase of 0.5% compared to September 2025.

The CPI reflects changes in prices paid by consumers for a fixed basket of 582 goods and services, while the WPI measures price movements for a fixed basket of 343 goods at the pre-retail stage.
