Riyadh: The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) has released the Construction Cost Index (CCI) bulletin for Saudi Arabia. This initiative is part of GASTAT’s efforts to develop statistical products for vital sectors, providing reliable references and accurate estimates based on analyses of materials, labor, equipment rental, and energy costs for residential and non-residential sectors. The CCI supports contractors, real estate developers, and relevant authorities in planning construction projects.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the September 2025 CCI survey shows a year-on-year increase of 0.7%, driven by a 0.8% rise in residential construction costs and a 0.6% increase in non-residential costs.

Additionally, the bulletin indicates price stability in the CCI for September 2025 compared to August 2025, with both residential and non-residential construction costs remaining stable.
