GASTAT Launches National Knowledge Competition as Part of ‘Road to Riyadh’ Events

The general authority for statistics (gastat) launched the national knowledge competition as part of the 'road to riyadh' events:he General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) launched the National Knowledge Competition as part of the 'Road to Riyadh' events, in preparation for Saudi Arabia's hosting of the sixth United Nations World Data Forum 2026 in November.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition aims to raise community awareness of the importance of data and statistics and expand public participation in the events accompanying the global forum. It also offers 10 winners the opportunity to attend the forum in Riyadh, which will bring together academics, experts, decision-makers, international organizations, government entities, and private-sector institutions, enabling them to learn about the latest global trends in data and statistics.

The competition includes six knowledge-based questions presented through an interactive experience that takes 10 minutes to complete. It will be open to the public from September 13 to 17. GASTAT invited interested participants to follow the launch of the competition and monitor updates through its social media accounts and official website.
