GACA Imposes over SAR4.8 Million in Fines for Civil Aviation Violations

Riyadh: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) imposed fines totaling more than SAR4.8 million for civil aviation violations during the third quarter of 2025. A total of 246 violations were recorded against entities and individuals that violated the Civil Aviation Law, its executive regulations, and directives issued by GACA.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority’s quarterly report, prepared by its pertinent committee, highlights the extent of these violations. GACA emphasized that these measures reflect its commitment to transparency and accountability and reaffirm its ongoing regulatory and supervisory role in the aviation sector. The authority also reiterated its efforts to enhance the passenger experience and improve the quality of the Saudi air transport services.
