Riyadh: French falcon farm owner Philippe Hertel said this year marks his sixth participation in the International Falcon Breeders Auction since its launch, citing the valuable opportunities it offers breeders and falconers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Hertel said he makes a point of attending every year, noting that the volume of sales reflects the strength of the market and the confidence the event has earned. He added that the benefits of participating go beyond the commercial aspect, including personal, social, and professional relationships. Over the course of his participation, he has formed many friendships with Saudi falconers and returns home each year with both financial and social gains.

He said the auction continues to strengthen its standing year after year as an economic and social gathering that brings together breeders and falconers from around the world. Its continued development has made it a global event he is keen to attend regularly.

The auction has become a global destination for falcon enthusiasts, giving them an opportunity to exchange expertise and experiences, Hertel emphasized.
