Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received today

Deemah Al-Yahya , Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), and her accompanying delegation and discussed joint cooperation.

The Undersecretary commended the organisation’s efforts to enhance digital cooperation between the Ministries of Communications and Information Technology in 13 countries around the world and empower youth and entrepreneurs to build effective and inclusive digital economies.

The two sides highlighted Bahrain’s efforts, through is presidency of the organization, to enhance digital cooperation with member states and enable all countries to build digital economies that support all sustainable development endeavors.

They reviewed ongoing preparations to co- organize a number of side events in the international forums, in addition to arrangements for Bahrain to host the work of the General Assembly of the organization to be held during the month of November in the Kingdom.

DCO Secretary-General praised Bahrain’s efforts in the field of digital transformation, as well as effective efforts in regional and international cooperation in this pioneering and vital field.

She also commended Bahrain's support for the organization's efforts and work to achieve a promising digital future for all, lauding the current joint cooperation.
