Jeddah: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Makkah Region Branch Director-General Fareed Al-Shehri welcomed the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Human Rights Commission Executive Director Dr. Hadi bin Ali Al-Yami in Jeddah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting at the branch headquarters, Dr. Al-Yami expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing substantial support to the commission since its establishment. This support has enabled the commission to implement the resolutions issued by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC member states concerning human rights, thereby enhancing its efforts to serve the causes of member states.

Al-Shehri congratulated Dr. Al-Yami on his recent appointment as the executive director of the commission. He emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the commission’s work to achieve its objectives in promoting human rights and reinforcing its principles among OIC member states.
