New delhi: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on the relations between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, emphasizing the continuous coordination and alignment of their positions on a range of issues. The ministers engaged in discussions on the latest regional developments, highlighting the attacks by the Houthi militia targeting areas in Saudi Arabia. The Bahraini foreign minister expressed strong condemnation of these attacks and reiterated Bahrain's support for Saudi Arabia and its responsive measures.

The dialogue also covered joint efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions, with a shared commitment to enhancing security, stability, and peace in the region.
