Foreign Minister Engages in G7 Maritime Security Discussion in Canada

Riyadh: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on Wednesday participated in a working session on maritime security and prosperity, held as part of the Group of Seven (G7) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Canada’s Niagara Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the session addressed ways to enhance maritime safety and security and strengthen international cooperation to ensure the smooth flow of global trade routes. Discussions underscored the importance of unifying efforts to protect international supply lines and maintaining navigational stability, contributing to enhancing global trade and economic growth.

Saudi Ambassador to Canada Amal Almoalimi attended the meeting.
