Johannesburg: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated today in Johannesburg in the opening session of the first meeting of the foreign ministers of the G20 countries under the presidency of the Republic of South Africa.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the G20 countries, under the presidency of the Republic of South Africa, aim this year to enhance the ability to confront disasters, support a just energy transition, and benefit from strategic minerals to achieve comprehensive development. This is to be pursued within a framework of global solidarity that emphasizes inclusiveness, justice, and sustainability for a more equitable future for all.
The session was attended by Deputy Minister of Finance and Saudi Sherpa for the G20 countries Abdul Mohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf, Ambassador to South Africa Faisal bin Falah Al-Harbi, and Assistant Director General of the Office of the Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Ismail.
