Riyadh: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Katherina Reiche, in Berlin today. The meeting focused on reviewing bilateral economic relations and exploring opportunities to expand the scope of partnership, increase trade and investment exchange, and leverage the capabilities available to both countries in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. These efforts aim to support the growing economic ties, open new horizons for partnership, and advance common interests.
According to Saudi Press Agency, both sides affirmed the importance of developing relations in the energy sector and strengthening related partnerships. This includes areas such as energy security and sustainability, as well as improving supply chain resilience. They also emphasized the significance of ensuring the security and safety of waterways and the freedom of commercial navigation. These efforts are intended to contribute to limiting the repercussions of current crises and supporting the stability of energy markets and the global economy.
