Riyadh: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held a phone call with Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria Beate Meinl-Reisinger. Prince Faisal congratulated her on Austria's election to a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for the 2027-2028 term. He expressed his interest in enhancing coordination and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Austria to contribute to regional and international security and stability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion between the two ministers also covered regional developments and ongoing efforts to address them.
