New York:Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah co-chaired a high-level meeting titled "The Road Ahead: One Year after the New York Declaration and the Comprehensive 20-point Peace Plan for Gaza" alongside France, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Faisal expressed appreciation for the recognition of the State of Palestine by France, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other countries, urging those that have not yet done so to take this step.

He highlighted the importance of confronting settlement expansion, settler violence, and annexation policies, and called for preserving the historical and legal status quo of Al-Quds. He also rejected violence, hatred, and incitement from all parties involved.

Addressing the situation in Gaza, Prince Faisal called for the full and immediate implementation of US President Donald Trump's comprehensive plan to resolve the conflict, which includes ensuring aid access and unifying the Gaza Strip and the West Bank under the Palestinian National Authority.

He emphasized that security should be based on mutual interests, not at the expense of others, asserting that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and ending the occupation are crucial for regional security and stability.

Prince Faisal reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's dedication to achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in line with the Arab Peace Initiative, relevant UN resolutions, and the New York Declaration.
