Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has predicted the continued formation of fog across parts of Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions. Skies are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with light rainfall anticipated over sections of the Kingdom’s southwestern highlands.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary from northeasterly to northerly at speeds of 10-28 km/h in the northern and central regions, while the southern part will experience southeasterly to easterly winds at speeds of 20-50 km/h. The wave height in the Red Sea is projected to range from half a meter to more than two meters, indicating a sea state that will fluctuate from calm to choppy conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates that winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, reaching speeds of 16-36 km/h. Wave heights in the Gulf are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
