Flynas Launches Direct Moscow-Jeddah Flights Starting December 23

Flynas: flynas announced the launch of a new direct route between Moscow and Jeddah, commencing on December 23. The route, undertaken in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Air Connectivity Program (ACP), will further increase connectivity with the Russian capital, aligning with flynas’s growth plan and the Kingdom’s national tourism and aviation objectives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, starting December 23, flynas will operate three weekly flights between Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. This development comes a few months after flynas launched the first scheduled flights between Moscow and Riyadh in August by a Saudi airline. The airline has committed to expanding destinations and routes to provide reliable and convenient travel links, aiming to strengthen relations between the two countries and expand offerings for flynas guests.

Wednesday’s announcement is part of an ongoing collaboration between flynas, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and ACP in marketing initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at stimulating travel to Saudi Arabia, including promoting the Moscow-Jeddah route through targeted international campaigns.

This expansion in the Russian aviation market aligns with flynas’ growth and expansion plan, titled ‘We Connect the World to the Kingdom.’ This plan is in parallel with the objectives of the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to enable national air carriers to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and host 150 million tourists yearly by 2030. Additionally, it aligns with the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques.
