First Batch of Malaysian Umrah Pilgrims Arrives in Madinah Under Royal Program.

Madinah: The first batch of Umrah performers, comprising 25 Malaysians, has arrived in Madinah under the Guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit. These pilgrims were welcomed at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, where they expressed their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince. They described the program as a significant gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Muslims worldwide.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program’s inaugural batch includes 250 prominent Islamic figures from 12 countries, selected among a total of 1,000 Umrah performers from 66 countries. This initiative, which facilitates Umrah and visits to the Prophet’s Mosque, is being executed under a royal order from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance oversees the program, planning to host guests in four groups throughout the Islamic year 1446 AH.
