Financial Academy Forum Concludes with Participation from Leading Decision-Makers, Experts

Riyadh: The fourth annual Financial Academy Forum concluded today after a series of panel discussions featuring a selection of executive leaders, decision-makers, and local and international experts in finance and business. The forum served as a key platform for the exchange of expertise and ideas among participants from within and outside the Kingdom, as well as representatives from financial institutions and specialized international centers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum’s first session examined the importance of strategic adaptability amid the rapid changes shaping the financial sector. Speakers addressed the evolving leadership priorities and effective responses to these changes, emphasizing the importance of utilizing modern leadership tools – from data analytics to fostering organizational culture – and maintaining a balance between vision and execution to achieve meaningful impact in financial organizations.

The second panel, titled ‘Sustainable Strategies for Developing Leadership Talent,’ highlighted leadership development tools and strategies fostered through partnerships with leading international advisory firms. Speakers underscored the importance of enhancing professional performance to prepare leaders for future demands, while reviewing global models for managing leadership competencies and exploring how best practices can be adapted to the local context to build effective leadership capacity.

In the forum’s final session, participants discussed human capital in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). Topics included the role of chief human resources officers in deploying AI to align human capital strategies with institutional growth objectives and regulatory requirements, and aims to build flexible, data-driven HR systems that strengthen competitiveness and sustainability, ensuring the future readiness of financial institutions.

Held this year under the slogan ‘We Innovate to Empower,’ the forum is a prominent annual event that brings together senior government officials, heads of authorities and institutions, chief executives, and a distinguished group of researchers, academics, experts, and practitioners in the finance and investment sector to discuss the latest global methods and practices in human capital development, aligned with the aspirations and future needs of the financial sector.
