Beijing: Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan will lead Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the 10th annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) board of governors, which will take place June 24 to 26 in Beijing, China.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meetings, the governors will review the AIIB’s 2024 annual report, assess progress toward its strategic priorities, discuss the AIIB’s future outlook, and elect a new president.

This year’s meeting will also mark the launch of a series of activities and events commemorating a decade since the AIIB establishment, highlighting its key achievements in supporting sustainable economic development and strengthening infrastructure connectivity among member states in Asia and beyond.
