Fifth Saudi International Physiotherapy Conference Concludes with Key Recommendations

Riyadh: The fifth Saudi International Physiotherapy Conference, organized by the Saudi Physical Therapy Association (SPTA) at Sultan bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City in Riyadh, concluded its three-day proceedings under the theme “Transforming Physiotherapy Practice in Saudi Arabia: Ensuring Sustainability within the New Model of Care.”

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference’s recommendations emphasized the need for value-based care through the standardization of outcome measures and the implementation of evidence-based guidelines. The discussions also underscored the importance of collaboration among policymakers, insurers, providers, and patients to support results-oriented reimbursement models.

Dr. Abdulfattah Alqahtani, SPTA Chairman of the Board of Directors, highlighted the association’s dedication to enhancing the national healthcare system and empowering Saudi talent in the field of physiotherapy.
