Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Al-Baha Region inaugurated the fifth edition of the "Khayrat Al-Baha" Festival yesterday at Raghadan Historical Market. The festival features 15 booths for farmers and beekeepers, reflecting the branch's efforts to support local produce, empower farmers, and promote the marketing of agricultural products and honey in the region. According to Saudi Press Agency, the three-day festival showcases a variety of seasonal crops and natural honey, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the quality of local products, while providing producers with direct marketing outlets. Director General of the Ministry's branch in Al-Baha Eng. Fahd bin Miftah Al-Zahrani explained that the festival's continuation for the fifth year confirms its success in achieving its developmental and economic objectives. These objectives include providing marketing opportunities for farmers and beekeepers, increasing the added value of their products, and enhancing th e sustainability of the agricultural sector.
