Madinah: The Festival of Cultures and Peoples is set to take place from February 12 to 19 at the Islamic University of Madinah, with participation from over 90 countries representing different continents. The event is designed to serve as a cultural and humanitarian platform, emphasizing values of diversity and coexistence.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival will feature a diverse program of more than 100 activities tailored for families. This includes cultural and heritage performances, numerous pavilions introducing various world cultures, and more than 100 play areas dedicated to children, enhancing the experience for visitors of all ages.
In addition to the cultural displays, the festival will host over 30 restaurants offering international dishes that reflect the culinary heritage of the participating countries. This gastronomic experience aims to showcase the richness and variety of global cuisines.
The festival builds on its success from previous years and is positioned as a global cultural platform. It aims to highlight shared values among different peoples, strengthen civilizational communication, and reinforce the message of moderation and openness that Saudi Arabia represents.
