It aims to track operational and economic challenges across sectors and strengthen supply chain efficiency and stability in Saudi Arabia. According to Saudi Press Agency, the observatory aims to measure efficiency and stability across supply chains and support accurate representation of private-sector views. It also seeks to turn data into practical insights that help shape economic policy and improve performance. It offers an advanced digital platform for designing specialized surveys and systematically collecting and analyzing private-sector feedback. That helps produce precise indicators to support decision-making. The observatory also analyzes operational challenges in vital sectors, especially food and pharmaceuticals. These include shipment delays, rising costs, and dependence on specific suppliers. It also assesses future risks linked to imports and logistics routes.
