The holy city boasts several museums and exhibitions established to showcase its historical heritage. They serve as educational centers for visitors to immerse themselves in Islamic history and learn about the Prophet's biography. The "As Safiyyah Museum and Park" is a cultural and tourist hub that seamlessly blends knowledge with entertainment. Nestled in the central area south of the Prophet's Mosque, it covers over 4,400 square meters. The site features innovative elements that enhance the experience of visitors to Madinah, including a museum that narrates the story of creation in various languages, a public garden, and diverse shops. The Prophet's Mosque Expansion Exhibition offers visitors an in-depth review of the architectural history o f the Prophet's Mosque, detailing the expansions it has undergone since its initial construction by the Prophet and his companions. Situated in the southern area of the Prophet's Mosque, the exhibition spans a total area of 2,200 m2. It features state-of-the-art technologies and 187 interactive screens to engage visitors. It also houses a special hall dedicated to rare collectibles and artifacts from the Prophet's Mosque. The exhibition aims to highlight the architectural marvels of the Prophet's Mosque, emphasizing its distinctive features, historical importance, and the Kingdom's commitment to its preservation and to serving its visitors.
