Riyadh: The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF), organizer of the Esports World Cup and the Esports Nations Cup, announced the schedule and prize structure for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC), set to take place in Riyadh from November 2 to 29.
According to Saudi Press Agency, EWCF said it will allocate a total investment of $45 million to support national teams, players, and clubs, including $20 million in direct prize money for players and coaches and $5 million to support clubs releasing players and enabling them to compete. The foundation will also disburse $20 million through the ENC Development Fund, aimed at supporting national programs, covering participation costs, and fostering the esports sector growth.
EWCF confirmed that the tournament will be held biennially, rotating among different global cities to support long-term planning. Participation has been confirmed for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Trackmania, and Dota 2, with additional titles to be announced later.
EWCF CEO Ralf Reichert said that national team-based competitions represent a new dimension in esports, enhancing competitiveness while strengthening national identity. He noted that the prize model was designed to ensure fairness, sustainability, and long-term growth for players, clubs, and national programs.
Under the approved system, players finishing first will receive $50,000 each, with $30,000 for second place and $15,000 for third. For team titles, prize distribution will be calculated according to roster size, with coaches receiving awards equal to those of players.
