Environment Ministry Launches Empowerment Program to Enhance Non-Profit Sector Capabilities

Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has launched an empowerment program for non-profit organizations that includes 26 specialized workshops across 11 regions of the Kingdom, aiming to enhance the operational efficiency of civil associations and strengthen their developmental role in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, eight workshops will be held in Riyadh Region, another eight in Eastern and Makkah Regions, and four in Madinah and Aseer. Additionally, six workshops will take place across the regions of Tabuk, Qassim, Jazan, Hail, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders, ensuring broad accessibility for the largest possible number of non-profit sector organizations.

The workshops will address a range of vital topics that meet the actual needs of the organizations, most notably the establishment of foundations and civil associations, partnership building, marketing for organizations, strategic planning, governance, financial sustainability, and the promotion of professional volunteering.

Through these workshops, the ministry seeks to boost the institutional and organizational skills of workers in the sector, thereby contributing to greater social impact and sustainability in non-profit work.
