Qassim: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture concluded an August date quality campaign in Qassim Region following 1,409 inspection tours of local markets, farms, and retail outlets.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign resulted in the confiscation of over 13.2 tons of non-compliant dates, the collection of 618 laboratory samples, and the issuance of 286 violations and warnings.

The ministry affirmed that monitoring operations will continue across the region to ensure strict adherence to safety standards and safeguard consumer health.
