Environment Ministry Clears Over 351,000 Livestock for Hajj Season 1446 AH

Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has cleared 351,427 sheep and 290 camels at Jeddah Islamic Port between Dhu al-Qi’dah 15 and 22, 1446 AH, as part of its 1446 Hajj season plan. Additional shipments are expected for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi (Adahi) to meet high demand.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry’s Spokesperson Saleh Bindakhil stated that preparations in Makkah and Madinah include overseeing slaughterhouses and public markets, supported by emergency teams and logistics.

Environment Ministry focuses on proactive readiness, waste management, and promoting positive environmental behaviors among pilgrims and workers.
