Riyadh: The Environment Fund launched a new interactive initiative in collaboration with the Friends of Footballers Society Charitable (ASDEQA), various regulatory bodies, and several retired Saudi football stars. The initiative aims to promote eco-friendly behavior and raise environmental awareness among spectators in Saudi stadiums.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative will be featured in eight matches this season at key venues, including AlAwwal Park and Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, and King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah. This effort is part of various sporting events across Saudi Arabia.
The Environment Fund utilizes its incentives and grants program to encourage eco-friendly practices among individuals and organizations while fostering research and innovation to support the Kingdom’s national environmental strategy.
