Dammam: The Ministry of Energy and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a natural gas compression and tanker distribution station at Dammam Third Industrial City, located in the Eastern Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed by Assistant Energy Minister for Development and Excellence, Eng. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, and MODON Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Majed Al-Argoubi. The agreement outlines the plan to supply compressed natural gas (CNG) via tankers to industrial facilities situated in Dammam First Industrial City, Al-Ahsa First Industrial City, and surrounding areas. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency and reliability of natural gas supplies, thus supporting the energy requirements of the industrial sector.
