Dammam: Eastern Region Municipality has finalized its preparations to celebrate Founding Day 2026 by rolling out a comprehensive decoration plan across the Dammam metropolitan area. The initiative targets main thoroughfares, arterial roads, vital intersections, and city waterfronts to highlight the national identity and enhance the urban landscape, reflecting the profound significance of this occasion in the national consciousness.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the decorative plan features 1,561 visual elements strategically distributed across key locations. This includes hoisting 600 Saudi flags on poles along main roads and installing 700 banners bearing the Founding Day logo on lampposts. Additionally, 200 flagpoles equipped with festive banners have been erected at central intersections to create a unified visual identity throughout Dammam.

The municipality's efforts also encompass the installation of nine large banners on its main headquarters and municipal buildings, alongside 12 banners across pedestrian bridges on King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road.
