Dust-Stirring Winds and Thunderstorms Expected in Saudi Arabia

Makkah: Dust-stirring winds are predicted to sweep across parts of the Makkah and Madinah regions. Thunderstorms, accompanied by gusty winds, are anticipated in parts of the Jazan and Aseer regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to westerly, reaching speeds of 12-35 km/h in the northern and central areas. In the southern part, winds will shift to northwesterly to southwesterly, with speeds ranging from 10-45 km/h. Wave heights will vary from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will transition from southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-20 km/h in the northern and central regions. By evening, winds will shift to northwesterly to northeasterly in the southern part. Waves are expected to reach from half a meter to one meter, maintaining a calm sea condition.
