Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Expected in Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are forecasted along with moderate to heavy rain and hail in parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these weather conditions are expected to affect various regions, with dust-stirring winds also predicted in parts of Riyadh, Najran, Aseer, Al-Baha, Hail, and Al-Jouf.

The National Center for Meteorology indicates that winds over the Red Sea will be northeasterly to southeasterly, later shifting to northwesterly at speeds of 20-60 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will be southeasterly to southerly at speeds of 25-55 km/h, resulting in waves that may range from half a meter to over two meters, causing the sea to be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northerly to northwesterly, reaching speeds of 20-45 km/h. Waves in this area could vary from half a meter to two and a half meters, making the sea conditions calm to choppy.
