Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Expected Across Several Regions

Jeddah: Dust-stirring winds and light to moderate rain are forecasted to impact various regions across Saudi Arabia on Friday. According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has indicated that these weather conditions will affect parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions. Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to vary, with northerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 15-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southerly to southeasterly winds at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights may fluctuate from half a meter to over two meters, causing the sea to range from calm to choppy conditions. In the Arabian Gulf, wind patterns will include northwesterly to westerly winds at 10-35 km/h in the northern and central areas, and southwesterly to westerly winds at 10-28 km/h in the southern part. Waves in the Arabian Gulf are expected to reach from half a meter to one and a half meter s, leading to relatively calm sea conditions.
