Dust-Stirring Winds and Light Rain Expected in Northern Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Weather conditions across various regions of Saudi Arabia are set to change on Tuesday as dust-stirring winds and light rain are forecasted.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has predicted that parts of Al-Jouf and Northern Borders will experience winds that stir dust, extending into regions like Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern areas. Additionally, light rain is expected in some northern areas.

Fog formation is anticipated overnight and in the early morning hours over the northern areas and the highlands of Jazan and Aseer. The forecast highlights the changing weather dynamics across these regions, impacting visibility and potentially affecting daily activities.

Over the Red Sea, winds will be northerly to northwesterly, ranging from 20-40 km/h, with waves reaching one to two meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions. Meanwhile, the Arabian Gulf will experience westerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 25-50 km/h, with waves ranging from one and a half meters to two and a half meters, making the sea calm to choppy.
