Riyadh: Digital Government Authority (DGA) Governor Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a leading global model in harnessing technology to serve humanity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in his opening speech at the fourth Digital Government Forum 2025, held under the theme “Our Future is Now,” Alsuwaiyan commended the sustained support from the Saudi leadership and noted that this backing, channeled through the executive programs of Saudi Vision 2030, has propelled the Kingdom to rank first regionally and third globally in digital government international indicators.
Alsuwaiyan stressed that while tools and technologies evolve, the core goals remain constant: raising productivity, achieving efficiency, and enhancing the beneficiary experience. He praised government entities for making significant leaps, transitioning rapidly from digital transformation into the realm of artificial intelligence.
The forum marked several achievements, announcing that the Digital Content Efficiency Index for 2025 scored a proficient 76.24%. The event also recognized winners of the Digital Government Award 2025 and honored qualifiers from the Innovation Challenge (GovJam) 2025 for their contributions to digital development.
The first day featured specialized sessions and interactive workshops focusing on innovation in the government sector and the utilization of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The forum continues with leadership sessions, dialogues, and the Digital Saudi exhibition, which hosts over 40 public and private entities showcasing their digital initiatives.
