The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has implemented the Central Control and Monitoring System (CCMS) for the electrical network in the Grand Mosque, aiming to enhance the system's readiness and efficiency.
This development is a continuation of the General Presidency's projects aligned with its Vision 2024, as part of the efforts to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It also serves to integrate and connect the Saudi expansions to the Grand Mosque.
The Undersecretary for Technical, Operational, and Maintenance Affairs at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Eng. Fares Al-Saedi, elaborated on the benefits of this development. The CCMS elevates the efficiency and reliability of the electrical network in the Grand Mosque, ensuring uninterrupted power supply through more than 74 scenarios. This seamless transition between scenarios is automatically managed by the CCMS, meticulously designed based on essential studies and appropriate procedures crafted by specialists from the General Presidency. The objective is to avoid any noticeable interruptions or impacts on the visitors or services during these transitions.
