Kuwait city: Deputy Public Prosecutor Dr. Shalaan bin Rajeh participated in the 16th meeting of the Assistant Attorneys General and Public Prosecutors from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states held in Kuwait.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on several topics of mutual concern, particularly the enhancement of cooperation and integration among the public prosecution and attorney general bodies of the GCC countries. Discussions included coordinating positions on partnerships with international organizations, associations, and conferences relevant to public prosecution work.
Participants also explored ways to improve mechanisms for executing letters rogatory and legal assistance. They reviewed successful experiences and best practices aimed at enhancing judicial performance. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the importance of continuing such periodic gatherings to further judicial cooperation among GCC public prosecution and attorney general bodies. This supports the goals of Gulf joint action and the realization of swift and effective justice.
