According to Saudi Press Agency, Hail is home to more than 1.2 million palm trees, with annual production exceeding 52,456 tons across more than 12,294 agricultural holdings. The region produces a diverse range of date varieties, most notably Hilwa, Qasba, Maskaniya, Sukari, Khalas, Barhi, Umm Rukab, Saqai, and Hamra. This diversity meets consumer needs, strengthens the market presence of local products, and reflects the scale of palm and date-related agricultural activity in the region.

The date season in the region runs from August to October, a period marked by bustling activity across farms as crops are harvested, sorted, and marketed. The season combines agricultural activity with economic vitality, highlighting Hail's agricultural assets and productive capabilities.
