Darah Participates in 2026 Beijing International Book Fair

Madinah: The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) took part in Saudi Arabia's pavilion at the 2026 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), which ran from June 17 to 21. The event featured participation from global publishing houses, cultural institutions, and knowledge organizations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during its participation, Darah showcased a selection of its specialized scholarly and cultural publications that focus on history and national heritage. The foundation also highlighted its various projects and initiatives in documentation, archiving, scientific research, and services provided to researchers and others interested in the Kingdom's history.

Visitors to the pavilion had the opportunity to explore a range of Darah's documentary and knowledge-based content. They learned about the foundation's efforts to preserve and make historical sources accessible, gaining insight into its role in safeguarding national memory and promoting Saudi history through international cultural forums.

The foundation's participation is part of its ongoing efforts to disseminate historical knowledge, strengthen cultural cooperation with institutions involved in publishing and books, and contribute to enhancing the international presence of Saudi intellectual and cultural output.
