Riyadh: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research recently marked its 50th anniversary, celebrating five decades of contributions and innovation since its inception. Throughout this time, the institute has conducted numerous studies and implemented sustainable development projects aimed at enhancing the experiences of pilgrims and Umrah performers, in line with its commitment to advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the institute has completed 989 research studies, 1,082 scientific studies, 165 advisory reports, 165 initiatives, 1,908 workshops, and 47 volunteer opportunities. The institute has also participated in 24 scientific forums, collaborated with 65 entities, and joined 30 memberships.

Its outputs have significantly highlighted Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers. The institute has gained global recognition for its specialized focus on Hajj, the holy sites, the two holy cities, and related planning, environmental, and humanitarian issues.
