Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the religious attach© in Mauritania, held a ceremony to mark the implementation of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Program for Distributing Dates at the Saudi embassy in Mali.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was attended by Saudi Ambassador Abdullah Sabir, Religious Attach© Dr. Fahid Al-Ruwais, the deputy secretary-general of Mali’s Preachers League, the president of the Mercy and Construction Association, and several officials. The dates to be distributed totaled eight tons, benefiting around 32,000 individuals.

In Liberia, the ministry executed the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Program for Distributing Dates at Bilal ibn Rabah Mosque in the capital, Monrovia. The ceremony was attended by Religious Advisor on Islamic Affairs to the President in Liberia Sekou Sheriff, and the heads of various charitable organizations, institutions, and Islamic centers in Liberia. The quantity of dates allocated to Liberia was five tons, benefiting some 20,000 individuals.
