Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved awarding the Third Class Medal of Merit to 308 male and female citizens in recognition of each of them donating blood at least ten times.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative underscores the importance of voluntary blood donation in the country and acknowledges the commitment of these individuals to supporting healthcare needs. The recipients of this medal have demonstrated their dedication to community service and health support through repeated blood donations, contributing significantly to the blood banks and healthcare facilities.
